10x Genomics recommends using only validated thermal cyclers for all Chromium Single Cell and Visium Spatial protocols. Thermal cyclers used for these protocols must support uniform heating of 100 µl volumes with a temperature-controlled lid and should include either a deep-well or a 0.2 ml block configuration.
